Education Building - Pendleton College Dance Studio

In just 12 weeks, ATCO Structures & Logistics UK Ltd. designed, manufactured, delivered and erected a three-story modular studio for theatre and dance classes at Pendleton College in Salford, Manchester.

ASL's ability to custom-design and deliver a product reflective of Pendleton’s vision was the winning ingredient that awarded the company the project. ASL designed and built the studio with increased floor loading to allow for dance on different levels and increased acoustic insulation between floors to ensure classes don’t interrupt each other.

In order to meet the client’s unique requirements, ASL finished walls, floors and ceilings in black to accommodate the college’s request to provide an optimal learning space for theatre and dance students.

All units were newly manufactured in Driffield, North Yorkshire and transported to the college campus. Air conditioning was installed in lieu of standard A rated heating to provide a more energy efficient option for the client.
