Location: Frederick, Colorado, USA
Client: Anadarko Petroleum Company
Category: Acoustic Enclosure
Market Segment: Oil & Gas |
ATCO Structures & Logistics was selected by Anadarko Petroleum Company to design, supply and install noise control for the Frederick Compressor Station. ASL installed its proprietary Cost-effective, Acoustic, Portable (CAP) enclosure to house the CAT 3608 compressor package which was a temporary installment on site. The CAP allows for fast erection and removal while providing the required noise mitigation. The project scope included:
- ATCO proprietary prefabricated acoustic wall and roof panels
- Cooler inlet and oulet silencers
- Engine exhaust silencer, catalyst, and support steel
- Custom-designed ventilation
- Two (2) personnel doors
- One (1) overhead door
- Two (2) 1-ton jib cranes within the enclosure to allow for removal of engine components
ASL’s CAP enclosure prevented noise at the compressor station’s west property line from exceeding 50 dBA as required by the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (COGCC). |
