Blast Resistant Building Layouts

There are six standard layout designs, or speak to us about custom designing a solution for you. Buildings can be joined or stacked and anchoring is not required.

  • 8psi, 200 ms, high response level
  • External electric Class I Div II
  • Top lifting lugs (4 or 6) designed for 59k lbs each
  • Vapor barrier and insulated for thermal conductivity
  • 120/240 volt single phase three wire
  • Anchoring not required, will not tip over in blast or 240+ km/h wind
  • Blast-resistant doors
  • Windows optional

We've field tested our buildings on a standard 8psi, 200ms blast-resistant unit with 1250 pounds of ANFO explosives to confirm ATCO-Hunter passes the standard for full-scale explosive testing.

Certified for safety

Certified by the American Petroleum Institute (API), ATCO-Hunter also follows standards that are recognized through certification in the following organizations and in compliance with the following codes:
